DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — Warmer temperatures are expected for much of the week with humidity increasing Tuesday during the day.
Temperatures will fall into the 50s tonight as clear skies continue. There may be a hazy period or two due to the ongoing fires out west.
Tomorrow will be even warmer with highs in the upper 80s with increasing humidity during the afternoon.
Hazy conditions are likely due to wildfire smoke continuing to stream into the region from Canada.
There is an Air Quality Alert issued for parts of the Miami Valley Tuesday due to higher Ozone levels. For more information: Air Quality Alert
Increasing humidity and a frontal boundary will increase rain chances late Wednesday as highs climb into the upper 80s.
Better rain chances move into the area Thursday. An isolated stronger to severe storm either day can’t be ruled out with damaging wind gusts as the main concern.
Scattered showers and storms continue into Friday before moving out early Saturday.
