Media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour confirmed that the Pyramids team is closer to winning the Egypt Cup.
Zamalek will meet Pyramids in the Egypt Cup final today, Thursday, at 8:30 PM Cairo and Mecca time.
Al-Ghandour said in a live broadcast on Facebook: “The championship will go to the best, whose spirit is greater and whose motivations are higher, with fair refereeing; Pyramids are closer, but Zamalek has an advantage in terms of fans.”
He added: “The result of the match is on the field, and Zamalek is not far from the championship, as evidenced by Pyramids losing to Farco and collapsing physically in the last match against Sundowns, and drawing with Al-Masry, and now Al-Ahly has become the league champion.”
