Ginny and Georgia is back and Ty Doran joins season three as Wolfe.
Ginny and Georgia has returned to Netflix with season three and in the latest outing, Ginny Miller (played by Antonia Gentry) is trying to maintain a normal life after her mother was arrested.
With her entire school knowing Georgia (Brianne Howey) is on trial for murder, Ginny has a difficult time going unnoticed.
Turning to her one comfort in life, she joins a poetry class, where she meets fellow aspiring poet, Wolfe.
Wolfe is played by Ty Doran, a 27-year-old American actor who took on his first roles in his mid-teens.
He started his career doing voiceovers for anime shows, before landing his first on-screen role as Peter Tanner in American Crime in 2016.
After this, he starred as Bryce in All Night, and took on a number of small roles in Queen Sugar, Chicago Fire and The Blacklist.
He did not reach global fame until he joined the cast of Manifest in 2021, playing Cal Stone. The series was picked up by Netflix after being cancelled by NBC.
The star admitted he had never seen the show when he landed the role, but his mother was a huge fan and he binged it in a couple of weeks.
He told Netflix’s Tudum: “Both for work and just as a viewer; I wanted to know what happened to Flight 828 immediately.
“The show has such a hook. It really gets its teeth into you so quickly that I was helpless.”
The star overlapped with Cal’s original portrayer, Jack Messina, with Ty playing the older version of the character.
Ty said it was challenging for the rest of the cast to get used to the new dynamic for season four, explaining: “I was the new guy.
“Everybody was getting to know me as we started filming this season, and we were building chemistry at the same time as these characters are trying to establish a new sort of adult relationship between each other and reconciling the dissonance of knowing someone is your son, brother, nephew, but not recognizing that physically.
“It’s a new body; it looks like a new person.”
Away from acting, Ty is on Instagram and he has shared some insight into his personal life, posting photos of himself with his girlfriend and family.
