Rising boy group KickFlip has shared their excitement and determination ahead of their performances at major global music festivals this summer.
During a media showcase held on May 26 at 2 p.m. KST at YES24 Live Hall in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul—celebrating the release of their second mini album Kick Out, Flip Now!—member Gyehun expressed,
“We’re honored to be part of festivals that feature so many incredible artists. We’re preparing with the mindset of doing our very best. Our goal is to share our stories and music with as many fans as possible through this opportunity.”
KickFlip is set to take the stage at two major festivals: Lollapalooza Chicago, which will be held on August 2 at Grant Park in Illinois, USA, and Summer Sonic Bangkok 2025, scheduled for August 23–24 at Impact Challenger Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.
Member Donghyun added, “It’s a huge honor just to perform at such large-scale festivals. We’re pouring our passion into preparations. The new album’s performances and songs are strong, so please look forward to them.”
Donghwa echoed the excitement, promising, “We’ll bring KickFlip’s signature explosive and refreshing energy to the stage.”
After making their debut on January 20 with Flip it, Kick it!, KickFlip is returning just four months later with a powerful comeback.
The new album features seven tracks, including the title track “FREEZE”, composed by the group’s youngest member Donghyun and co-written by Gyehun, Donghwa, and Minjae.
Notably, the track “Complicated!!” was written, composed, and arranged by member Amaru, showcasing the group’s creative depth.
KickFlip’s new album drops at 6 p.m. KST on May 26 across major music platforms. To celebrate the release, the group will hold a comeback showcase at 8 p.m. the same day at YES24 Live Hall. The event will also be streamed live on JYP Entertainment’s and KickFlip’s official YouTube channels.
