Xavi Simons (22) appears to have made up his mind about leaving RB Leipzig, despite having recently extended his contract with the club until June 2027.
The Dutch midfielder reportedly feels he has reached a ceiling at the German side and is eager to take the next step in his career.
His main objective is to play consistently in the UEFA Champions League, and for that reason, he is now open to one of several offers currently on the table.

A former FC Barcelona youth product and ex-PSG player, Simons is attracting interest from several top clubs, including Manchester City, where he is reportedly on their radar.
However, according to L’Équipe, the Dutch international is not City’s first choice.
At the Etihad, Simons is considered a plan B, with the club’s priority being 21-year-old French talent Rayan Cherki from Olympique Lyonnais.
While Cherki has not yet finalized a move to Pep Guardiola’s squad, negotiations have progressed in recent hours.
The two parties are said to be close to reaching personal terms, although nothing has been finalized. Manchester City is expected to submit a formal offer to Lyon shortly.
